Default Roush ThrottleBody

I just recently purchased a 2002 Ford Mustang GTand I am in the process of gathering my parts that I want to get installed on my GT. I recently bought a 75mm Roush ThrottleBody on Ebay for a decent price of $150, the seller says he is selling due to he went with a different setup. Anyway, correct me if I am wrong but after I replace the TB and the plenum I will need to get the MAF recalibrated for the new TB ? Reason I am asking is because even when I look at the install that I seen on the sticky notes here it shows them installing with the stock plenum just grinding it down to match, but never says to recalibrate the MAF ?

No you don't... ALthough you may start to experience "idle hang" (decay rate) buy do the Iac mod and you'll be set till you get a custom tune. Fixed in under 20 minutes.

Default RE: Roush ThrottleBody

Thanks for the reply, I am planning on adding a SC hopefully by next summer along with some other goodies. I am thinking of going with a roush setup except for the SC 8k is a hard pill to swallow even thoughit isa kit and adds a lot of other stuff.

The previous owner of this mustang I believe removed most of the mods he had done even though I dont know what they were. Reason I think he may of done some of the modding or atleast started is because the car already has a Hurst short shift installed. Unknown if anything else was done. One mod I believe that may have been removed is a rear end set because it seems that I hear a whine at around 50mph. I could be wrong because it sounds a lot higher pitch than other rear end whines I have heard.
