basically you'd be redoing the whole car. lots of work but very doable. pushrod motors do get swapped into 96+ cars.

Actually it's not as bad as you might think. Remember the '94-'95 GT came with a 5.0, which has very similar external dimensions as a 351W. You can get motor mounts for a 5.0 SN95 Mustang and they should work. The extent of your work will depend on whether or not you want a fuel-injected or carb'd engine, whether you're going to use a 351 roller block or not, etc. It would be a lot cheaper to build a carb'd 351 but I can only recommend that if you don't have to smog. A fuel-injected 351 would be harder but you can probably get a wiring harness and computer from Ford like the one they used in the 1997 Saleen S351 Speedster or maybe an aftermarket setup. You'll need a beefier tranny if you want a 5-speed or 6-speed, or you can just get a built auto. I've thought about doing the same thing, but it's a PITA to find a 351 roller block...

just buy a nice crate motor, like a 331 or a 347 stroker. but a 302 block based engine would probably be the easiest.

really not too much work to make it fit. I had to go with a Auto but i run a 4500 stall with it. Buy a motor mount kit for under $75.00
