How do I fit skinneis on a 98 Cobra?
I am ready to put big n littles on my cobra but I have a question. I have heard from many people that the front skinny,s wont fit because of the BIG Cobra brakes. Is this true? If so, will a 1" spacer with the new studs be enough to clear the rotors/calipers? Thanks for your input. I know something has to work because I see cobra's all over the place in magazines and everything with Weld's on them. Thanks in advance.
PS -whats the largest Weld draglite/M-T e.t. street I can fit on the back of this car running 3.73 gears (not too tall obviously)
THanks a million everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Cobra Dan/Florida

i dont think a spacer would cure the problem...and even if it would, spacers are kinda ghetto. do cobra calipers fit gt rotors? cause if so, just get smaller rotors. and if not, maybe just trade someone with a gt your brakes for theirs+cash

Spacers arent a good idea, they put extra strain on the studs. I looked into this and asked the same question for a long time and just decided to forget it. Most of the cars you are seeing have brake swaps. You can however, grind the capiler down. I just cant bring myself to do that though.
