If you don't use that sensor, depending on which one you use, Either the Temp gauge wont work OR the ECU will turn the Fan on all the time. And you can not splice the wires to use the same Temp Sensor for both. They have different values.

100% right. I haven't had a chance to tap for the sensor yet and my fan stays on all the time. I unplugged it for the time being, but the temperature gauge works fine.

i got my gaskets from car quest, the manifold from americanmuscle.com, and everything else from a ford dealership. no problems finding anything really.

This is the one I bought it looks like the NPI but store told me it should fit (2000 GT) its the Dorman intake. Any thoughts?

that would be the npi intake.. the first runner goes to the pass side instead of the driver side..
