how much did you guys pay for the the thin tube that connects to the nipple on the water pump? As well as the nipple??
I don't even want to tell you how much my dealer told me. I think they quoted me the wrong part

If you're taking about the heater hose going through the valley of the block it was ... $100.00 I didn't believe it eigther. I bought all the parts not including the manifold and it cost me about $200.
The heater core on my car went bad a while ago before my manifold cracked so sence I never ever used the heater on my car, even in the winter I didn't need to buy the hose through the valley of the block. I capped the end of the water pump nipple and manifold nipple.

wow you got royally *** raped. i paid $34 for the tube running through the valley of the block. from a ford dealer. the nipple was like 10-15 i believe. and for all the parts combined i think i paid just over 50-60 bucks. the most expensive being the manifold gaskets at like 42.

yea thats what I experienced.. They told me about 95 bucks. Luckily I found the entire kit with EVERYTHING included for just under 300 from Custom Mustang of South Florida. So I didn't have to buy anything from Ford. I highly recommend their kit.

Oh and don't forget to put just put the RTV sealant on the corner of the water jacket as the instructions explain!! I missed that part and it caused me big problems with leaks.
Who reads instructions anyway???
