iac mod and AC

RE: iac mod and AC
I made my own, but it became such a hassle to get the right size whole. I had to change it too many times. I ended up buying the one off of ebay. I put it in and it works perfectly. RPM's drop quicker and it pops a lot on decel.

all its doing is making your car run richer at idle. I tried it for alittle while. My car idled fine, sounded good, and the RPM's dropped alittle quicker. It wasn't enough for me to overlook the loud whistling and richer mixture coming from the tail pipes, So i took it off.

if still doesn't work, try this just happened to me recently, same problem, idle drops when i turned the a/c, trying cleaning your throttle body with a spray cleaner and clean rags, works for me.. save you 400 dollars if you try to take it to the dealer..chow

Mine does the exact same thing. It idles normal but when I turn on the AC it drops to about 500rpms then goes back up to around 750. I've tryed many different size holes but if its just a little too big then it idles too high, idk.

if you guys wiuld stop with the gaskets and make a plug for the hose it would make your life 10x easier. all you need to do is make a restrictor plug to go in the hose that ways all u do is pull it off, no tools required. just go find some aluminum or some piping that will fit in the tub and drill the size hole you want simple and can be returned to stock in 5sec
