Default Someone with a Bullitt Mustang please help!!

I am having problems with with my plastic piece on the gas pedal breaking. This is the second one in 3 months. I found pedals online that don't seem to be just a metal cover. They said they are off of the Mustang Bullitt. Link to Pedals. Can some onerun out to their car and look at the gas pedal and tell me if the back of the pedal where it mounts to the assembally is metal or plastic.

I don't have a bullitt.... but I do have Bullitt pedals.. they are plastic just like the GT's... but the plastic is thicker.... it was thicker than mine anyways... the pedals on that site are the same thing.... as far as I know no one makes all out aluminum or metal pedals.... however if you are snapping pedals that often either you are doing the install wrong.... overtightening? Or are driving to hard! I have had my Bullitt pedals on for about a year now.. no troubles!

They do crack... either way they are cheap plastic crap... try switching to a nut and bolt instead of re-using the pin.... use a lock nut... with a smaller diameter bolt than the hole to alow play in the pedal so it dosent torque against the pin.
