Is this worth it?
A Friend i know is selling a Used BBK 1559 pullies(all 3 of em), GREAT CONDITION took them off because i guess he had to go back to his stock pullies becuase he got a S/c installed. Hes asking 80 bux, is it worth it, as in performance gain and eveyrthing else? Does it void warranty? will it hurt the belt? PLEASE feed me some info ill appreciate it thanks!! btw i drive an auto 04 gt

As far as I know, low gain in numbers.. A handful of ponies if you're lucky. The one drawback I've heard claimed before was reduced engine cooling, however others claim it's not affected.

BBKs are the piggyback style, which is ****. Look forSteeda pulleys if you want them. Cooling shouldn't be affected, neither shouldyour voltage with good UDPs. Plenty of people run them trouble free. An issue people bring up is cracked oil pump gears from high rpms. I dont know of anyone here who has had the problem, but is a topic that floats around. The crank pulley also holds the harmonic damper and switching to a smaller pulley results in less mass to dampen the vibrations. Steeda claims their damper meets Ford's specs for vibration control and that no one else's does, thats off their site I don't know how much truth is behind it. You can also get an Innovators West pulley in stock and +/- 10% drive for about 400 bucks (for the crank pulley only), whichare very high quality. Remember, you get what you pay for.

March makes a crank pulley, that I beleive uses other piggy back systems like BBK. They claim "12hp" Its the one piece that eliminates the piggy back. Im not sure if your supposed to use it alone or with other systems, you might want to call March or Jegs for that one.
