T-56 viper geared tranny
I was looking at the gear comparison between different trannys and the T-56 viper version has a gearing of .74 in 5th gear. This is not much lower than the standard 1.00 in the 4th of most transmission. Could I still use 5th gear as a pulling gear on the highway with spray. I know not to spray in 5th with the t3650, but what about the t-56 viper gearing?
Lets just put it like this, stock 02gt with 100-125 WET and stage II cams, would it be okay to spray in a gear with a ration of .74 and rear gear of 4.10?? Thanks
