Default Electric cutout

Pros? Cons? It seems like something that would be useful, and very fun at the same time. Will it damage the engine?

electric cutouts cost a lot more than regular cutouts. I've heard them on cammed stangs and they sound great, not so sure how it would sound on a stock stang. I have a set of regulars that I'll install with the new motor. I would guess it would throw the a/f off some, but I could be wrong. From what I've heard you may loose a little low end power with them open.

You WILL lose low end power. It's 100% noticable.

I think electric ones are a waste of money, but if that's what you like, that's cool. I have regular cutouts for when I run Nitrous. It takes me a total of 2mins, if that, to get them off. And they were $26 a side.
