No kidding. Figure at least 750 for just the cams and valve springs. I got a quote for porting at around 800 or so bucks.

Then the valves and all that crap.

Im thinking the way to go is patriot performance's heads. 1295 complete.

When I upgrade my PI heads that's the route I'm going. Unless of course there are some better heads around by then...

Patriot performace heads better then PI port and polished heads?

with them heads I can only think streetability goes to ****

patriot heads ARE PI heads. patriot performance is the name of the company.

casper, also figure into that the price of SCT software and tuning.

porting: $800
cams: $550
springs:$180
valves: $400
swap labor: $700
SCT software/tuning $650

and all the gaskets, bolts, hoses etc i had replaced. plus new plug wires, and 2 hours of labor charges for spending 2 days trying to figure out why #7 injector wouldnt fire. the porting and labor costs also covered cleaning the heads, assembling etc.
