Default a/c help

Hey guys,
I am new on here but i really need some help. the a/c on my 98 mustang GT quit the other day. When I noticed that the compressor was not coming on I tested some wires. The wires to the low pressure swith on the accumilator doesn't have any power, and I know that at least on side should be hot. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Check your fuses. I'm not completely sure but the low pressure switch may be a ground. If it is neither side will have power. The proper way to check the low pressure switch is to unplug it and cross the terminals together while the car is running with the ac on. If the compressor kicks on then you are low on freon.
