nah,
when you would flash your ecu with the predator, it would take the settings but would only let the car go 35mhp. not a lick higher... he then flashed it back to the stock gear setting and it worked fine, but the cal was off about 10mph. i can't remember exactly what he said on how they fixed it. i do remember him saying it had something to do with the predator. he's my roommate, so i will see him sometime tonight and will get back to you as soon as i find out. thats the advantage of having a roommate that knows a mustang like the back of his hand....

my car goes up to speeds fine, its just that im not sure that the MPMH is right . i can go past 35 and past 55 and past everything, but in 5th gear 65mph at 2500 RPM sounds high to me ... maybe thats how it should be , im comming to the conclusion that i guess its normal because zw99gt said that with 373s hes at 70 at around 2400 , so me being at 5 around 2500 seems normal i guess. whatever lol

i don't think you'll screw the engine up i think that it'll just screw you on mpg and you'll burn alot more gas. mines at like 2500 at a roll with just an offroad x,slp catback and a cai. and its alot higher with overdrive off.

ummm??? exhaust doesnt have anything to do with rpms, thats all gearing. And of course your rpms jump when you turn overdrive off its taking away your fourth gear

i can shift at 2500 rpms, but then I'd shift at 10 mph, 25 mph, 37 mph and so on... easier to get up to 25, 37, 45, then put it in 5th which lets me run around 2300 rpm at 45ish mph.
pita means pain in the ***... short gearing is a pita for daily driving.
