Default suspension help needed ASAP (drop springs in progress)

guys i am currently installing the frpp series G lowering springs on my 02 gt convertible. I AM STUCK here.....

I have both sides of the front suspension completely disassembled, except for the tie rod ends. I cannot get the new springs in. DO i have to undo the tie rod ends? I have tried hammering them out....but not getting anywhere. it was my understanding i did NOT need spring compressors......

i am in the middle of working this issue and any help would be appreciated.....basically one question...do i have to undo the tie rod ends to get the new springs in?

please help ASAP!! thanks all!

i would say that spring compressors would make your job much easier, at least they did for me.

You shouldnt have to, all you need off is your shocks, stabilizer bar and normal stuff in the way. Make sure you have your car high enough on jack stands so that you (preferably a friend) can step on the A-arm and push it as far down against the floor as you can. Then you will still have to use a pry-bar to pry the spring into place. Its tricky but can be done. Hope this helps some and GL.

i dont mean to sound retarded here......but will it damage the tie rod end (that is still connected to the rotor assembly) if i force it down to try and get the spring in? this is a solo job unfortuneantly!

go to auto zone and get a spring compressor. Its much easier! its free to rent too! just give them the depsoit i think its like 70$ or somethin and then when you're done take it back and they give you all the money back
