Default New Motor Setup some thoughts and help needed

Well, i am about to order my new motor setup so far i am between these 2 setups

mmr 900 4.6l 2v long block - fully forged high volume oil pump, hd studs, stiffer valve springs
ported heads
blower cams

or

MMR 700 5.4l 2v long block- fully forged high volume oil pump, hd studs, stiffer valve springs
again ported heads
blower cams

now my dilemma

i already was running a kenne bell 1.7L intercooled blower, i want to keep this as its new im planning on running my 12lb pulley, i have no intentions of wanting a bigger blower or turbos

now my question. of those 2 motors the 4.6 and the 5.4 which would make better power with the kenne bell blower, the only reason im thinking of the 900 is because i want safe the 700 will also be safe, but i want to build a motor that can be daily driven or take a 300 mile trip if i want it to.

on a mustang dyno with the stock 4.6 it made 400whp and 430tq @9lbs of boost, that was with full exhaust, intake, 42lb injectors, 90mm maf, boost a pump

also one other thought will i need to up my injector size or fuel pump because of the more fuel required because of the ported heads?

Basically im trying to build what i had again, 400whp + but figureing i already had the 12lb pully i would use it, like i said i dont want to go crazy i just want a nice motor setup that i can drop in with no worries make good power and still be reliable.

i also want to spend the least amount of money meaning i dont want to have to replace multiple other parts, like the fuel pump, even bigger injector basically i dont want to buy anything more then i had because i realize already im spending 6300$ on a long block and i have well over that into the car in other areas and i know i am never going to see those $ back

go big or go home, get the 5.4L! im j/k I cant answer you question, i would try for the 5.4 if possible, there is no replacement for displacement.

that blower will not get you close to 900 hp, or 700 for that matter... the 5.4 would be more powerful - but it wont be worth the cost - your all ready gonna have all you want down low... just add some spray on the 900 4.6 - and put down some real power when you want it.

if you don't plan on going much higher than you were previously at, why bother getting the 900? get the 600

What is the cost difference between the 5.4 and the 4.6? If you do the 5.4 you'll have to change your exhaust set up. If you have shorties they will work but you'll have to modify your mid-pipe. If you have long tubes you'll have to replace them with either shorties or a custom set, plus modify your mid pipe. So that is something to keep in mind. In the 5.4 what would you use for an intake manifold? You'll have to get the adapter plates to convert your kenne bell to fit a 5.4.

well before reading this thread i orderd a mmr900 long block. i want the 900 over the 600 for saftey sake because i plan on only doing this once...and i am prolly full of **** when i say that all the power i want im prolly kidding myself, so a nice 200 shot does seem tempting because i always do and have wanted more power

its the mmr900 long block with ported heads, street racing oil pump, hd block and head studs, low compression pistons, (no cams) i decided i wanna put a catted x pipe on and keep it quiter because im so tired of cops and tickets i cant even enjoy the car because of it

should be her in about a mounth im pretty excited none the less, now just gotta throw her in a put it on the dyno!
