Hey guys-

Thinking of gettin the 04' gt and was wondering what is an estimate of how much h.p. the car can run at the crank with n/a bolt ons? And when i say that i mean without doing anything too extreme, just the asics like full exhaust, intake, plenum, stuff like that. also are stage 1 cams worth the money and how much are cam installs roughly?

300 crank in cold weather

You could squeeze a lil more than that with stage 1 cams and a really good tune. I am roughly at 300 at the crank and lacking cams, TB or plenum. Granted not much, but Id say like 325ish crank

you can go 380-400 rear wheel horse safely with a good tune

safe mostly depends on what you do, ie turbo, super, or juice. Its all relative with the torque. Juice cranks out a lot of torque so safe numbers are like 400ish at the wheels, vs super or turbo you could safely squeeze 425ish to the wheels. Bottom line the rods are legally rated at 450hp at the crank
