RE: 50k Service....what to do?
i recently just bought a 2004 GT and it has 48k miles, gonna hit 50k miles soon......Wondering what to do also? I noticed i get really bad gas mileage, about 130 miles for a tank of gas.....i shift at like 2-2.5 rpm and only bring it up high 1-3times when merging on the highway.....So hopefully whatever needs to be done on the 50k service will fix that.....

well if u have an automatic, then its time for a trans flush at 50k. ngk spark plugs (i've always had good luck with them). never changed my fuel filter, so i cant help u on that. i would clean the airfilter/get a new one if you still have a stock intake. wouldnt hurt to get new spark plug wires either.

i have a 5speed.....ill probably just do an oil change(what oil do you recommend?), oil filter, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, anything else? Feels like the car is running alil sluggish, so anything else i could change during the tune up that could help i will change....i will probably be doing it myself....Also, if anyone recommends any website where i can order all these parts for the tune-up for a good price let me know...thanks
