Ok i found another 98 gt 4.5 5spd. 111,000 miles. asking 5200. BUT problem with it. Odometer doesnt work and paint is chipping in spots AND the bad bad part of it there is a slight problem with idle. thinks it needs a tune up has replaced almost every sensor, ICU, fuel pump, and coil packs. its lowered 2' 18' chrome wheels new front tires true dual exhaust new clutch. but he put fox body control arms and k member sub frame under it. IS THE CAR WORTH 5200$ ?????????????????? If so im gonna get it or try to. or should i offer a lower price of say $4800?????????????????????????? SO what do you think it is worth. i looked it up on edmunds and put average and it came out to be 3800$$ so just help me decide thanks

Nah i would let it go. 98's are slow.

unless you can find a perfect condition one, for that price I would spend a few thousand more and get a 99 GT. Look long enough and you should find one with decently low miles in the 8000-9000 range, a 5 speed coupe that is.

Its just a world of difference between the two cars power and upgrades wise. NPI cars are basically useless mods wise unless you do something with the heads/cams/intake so why not just pay a few thousand more for a already PI car thats newer?

That seems like far too much money, considering you don't know what additional problems you'll find a week later. And as with any 100k plus car, you WILL find problems a week later.

If he has a fox body k member does that mean he swapped to a 302?

i thought the k members are differnet becuse the engines are different?
