[&o] Hey guys, the intake of my 97' GT cracked so I need another intake or maybe a supercharger to replaced my old one. I was thinking about getting a bullit intake, the trick flow one or a saleen IV series supercharger but I don't know if any of this would fit, any advice would be extremely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wasn't there a recall on those things? You might be able to get a warranty replacement, call the dealership.

Just buy a pi intake, I'm pretty sure you can get one for 100 bucks or less. A kenne bell kit would replace it nicely though.

The thing is that I don't want to get the crappy plastic manifold that comes with my car nor the PI intake since they crack every once in a while, I want something that would last. Like I mention before I want to get an aftermarket aluminum intake or a supercharger that replaces my intake ( roots or twin screw)

There are several after market intakes available. Professional Products makes one. Texas Hot Rods sells another brand. I've even heard that BBK is bringing a new one out.

Just put a kenne bell on and be done with it. The Saleen blowers are overrated. Your buying the name.

A new PI intake is unlikely to crack, and if it does, it's because of something entirely different than the way the old intakes crack. The part that cracks is the coolant passage on the front. The new version have a metal coolant passage. It doesn't matter if the rest is plastic, the rest isn't what cracks. I can tell you right now, unless you have some crazy headwork done to that car, you don't need anything aftermarket. If you want a supercharger, get one, otherwise get a PI intake.
