Default Hp Question

how much hp does a stock 1993 4.6 have?
how much would it go up if i bored it 0.030 over?
What would be the best way to get the most hp out of the motor?
what would be the best supercharger to put on it?

The 4.6 was first introduced in 1991 I believe, but didn't make it into a mustang until 1996. If its a 1993 4.6 Im not sure of the power. Id assume its the same 220 the NPI 96-98s have. Best way to make power is forced induction regardless. Boring it .030 over will do next to nothing for power increases.

The best way get some HP out of her would be to go H/C/I and even when you do that the compression prob. would be a little high so I'm not sure about supercharging it....

And what vehicle came with the 4.6 in 93?? was it like an explorer or a crown vic??

Crown V, Town Car and Grand Marquis. A blower will make more power than h/c/i.

Its not exactly the same as the NPI setup. Not sure on the heads/cams, but the intake manifold is not the plastic NPI peice, its a metal setup.

If it is a non PI can it safely hold anymore than 350 wheel HP( supercahrged)?? I thought that was the ballpark max numbers for the non-pi setups
