Default opinion question

I've had some recent cutbacks at work, and i haven't been making as much money as i used to. I am now going to school, so with the car, insurance and the gas, i have no money left, and nobody can live off of that. I am down to three decisions. 1. TRY and find another better paying job. 2. Sell the 2000 GT. 3. Take the insurance off the GT and get my 66 mustang back to running condition and drive that around, while still paying for the GT. Im spending 225 a month on insurance for the GT, and over $320 in gas in a month. If i remember correctly the 66 got better gas mileage then the GT does. So which option should i persue? I seriously am torn right now. I dont want to get rid of the stang, and i really like my job, it just takes time to get better.

Depending on where you live. And how far to work. There are manyalternatives...Like walking, riding a bike, taking city transit, car pooling.Find a job closer to your home. What's the weather like where you're from ? Could you havebeen any more vague in your statements...

+1... Even if you drive the other one which is better on gas you will prolly find that its not even that much of a diff. You also said that you would have to get the 66 repaired to be in running condition and that may cost you more in the end than your paying now.

Just my $0.02

Well sorry for being vague. I drive over 1000 miles a month. 860 of those are going to college. The 66 needs a head job and a gasket set. but i want a cam and new carburator.
