Help me decide on these
ok first off let me say that i have a Vortech V2, im wantin 500+. Ive been saving for a while and really dont know which option is better. I make just shy of 400rwhp. It really isnt enough. So im lookin for more power. But as we all know most of us are not made of money, so heres my options:
1.) I/C or meth injection
blower cam,
and retuned of course and basically be maxed out at 450rwhp.
2.) go with a forged shortblock
smaller pulley
basically shouldi go with the shortblock and be basically still be makin the same power im makin now, or should i max the motor out at 450rwhp and have to wait a while for the shortblock. My future plans include a 125 shot of nitrous, stage 3 heads, blower cams, hardballer intake, and all the corresponding mods that would be needed with this setup. What do you guys think?

I personally would build the shortblock, but thats so I can sleep at night knowing I wont blow my motor tomorrow, although 450rwhp is very safe on F/I, I would just sleep better.

shortblock ftw the intercool should come after. unless your running a huge amount of boost it is not completly nessacary.. it will always help but i would to the block first then up the boost to 16 - 20 psi and at same time add the intercooler

dude you can just swap the pulley on your short block swap... you have to re-tune it anyway - but honestly id wait and do them both at the same time - the intercooler is only gonna cost you about 800 bucks - so why waste money on multiple tunes?
