Default Prior to installing tb/plenum....unhook battery?

I got my Accufab tb/plenum in the mail today. Can't wait to install it, but before I do, should I leave the battery unhooked? Just the negative? And when I start the car for the first time, do I need to let the car sit for a few minutes to re-learn the idle or something?

Unhook the battery. When you start the car for the first time let it idle for 5-10 min. without reving it so it can relearn where is needs to idle.

FYI working on car with power hotCAN equal blown PCM, just ask my OLDtransmission mechanic! you shouldnt hurt anything its just a tb and plenum swap, but always a good idea.

There's no reason to unhook the battery for anything unless you're working on a starter or actually taking the battery out. I've taken off entire intake manifolds on Cadillacs, and they have tons of more wires to disconnect than a Mustang. Every GM service manual tells you to unhook the negative terminal for everything when you don't need to. You should be fine leaving it hooked up.

should you not disconnect the Positive terminal... not the negative??? The negative is the ground... the Positive is what really give it the power sort-of-speak
