blower problem at 5 grand

Default blower problem at 5 grand

i dont know if anyone else has this problem but i have a 97 GT with a pro charger and when ever i hit 5 grand it kind of spudders then keeps going its wierd im not really sure if its bad or why its holding me back? please help

I had the same problem with my procharger. It was the spark plugs. A blower will blow the spark out at high rpms if there not up to par. Put some NGK TR6 plugs gaped at .032 and let er rip.

Yeah, I'd definitely look at plugs first (I don't suppose you know if it happened before it was blown or not?), they are probably just old or not sufficient for that engine.
