is the emissions not handled by Gordon Darby of Texas??? Gordon Darby does it in AZ, and we do not do a visual on any OBD 2 vehicle class 1-4

I dont know who Gordon Darby is, but visual is suppossed to be done on any vehicle that gets an inspection in Texas.

Gordon-Darby is a nationwide chain that does Vehicle Emissions Testing for most states in the US

I dunno, I have never heard of them. We use ESP machines and during the inspection there is a part of the safety check and you get to P or F according to the emissions safety check.

I've had my car inspected in Waco and here in Clifton at the Chevy Dealership and I've passed with no problems. It really depends on where you're at. In the larger cities they will probably stress emissions. I wouldn't stress emissions because you can find someone that will pass you.

Bigd dont come to my place anymore, my main inspector(FNG) failed his father inlaw for a cracked lamp, much less no cats, he would fail me, his boss, lol. go to mogo off hwy 6 and 529 in front of lowes, its not that they will pass you, its that they are so negligent they just dont check.

absolutely, I did not sit through the class to do inspections, I did it to make MY car pass, lol. FYI those classes are retarded in Texas. They are 2 days, the first day is broken into 2 parts, 1st half, safety, second half, emissions. The second day is the practical. Plus ALL the DPS officers treat you like some kind of child. Out of the 50 people they let in on the first day, only 5, including myself, made it through the whole course without failing anything. If you fail one portion, you have to come back next week and start over. if you fail anything twice, you have to wait 1-3 months and start fresh. ridiculous.
