so what are your shift points before the shift kit and after
i noticed mine are around 1-2 is 27 mph 2-3 is 30-32 and 3-od is 38-40
does this sound the same to you? whats the difference after the shift kit if any?
So the 2-3 shift is only 5mph above the 1-2?, sounds a little low to me unless you mean just crusing around. The shift points should actually be set up based off rpms and where the hspwr comes in at...1-2 at 6200, 2-3 at 6000 and so on. I had mine set up on a dyno when stock and after the converter install. Makes a heck of a difference and helps with 1/4 as well. I would order a modified valve body from www.bc-automotive.com (about $300.00)as they have an awesome rep with these trans. You can also keep the stock one in case you need to swap it out for a warranty issue, whereas the transgo requires modifying the stock parts which cant be put back to "stock". Transgo is pretty good though from what Ive read, but to each his/her own.
