i see a ot of people in here are having this problem ford issued a recall on this problem i would take it the dealer and ford shoulb pay for this. But be careful I think ford only decided to do it on certain cars. They gave people with that intake seven years. if you did not have a problem in seven years they may not cover it. I had one of may co workers go thought this and he got back all his money for replacing it. I even got the notice i the mail you should be able to find it under the recalls for your mustang. Ford did not go plubic with this thats why so many people dont know.

Yeah, the aluminum crossovers fixed an issue they had. They had a weak spot which was cracking frequently (well, just about every one cracks after a while). The new aluminum crossover fixed that defect, however, it's by no means a superman intake. Now that you've fixed the issues that always happens, doesn't mean that your intake will absolutely never crack, it's just that it's not as common and not necessarily caused by the same reason.

i had that same problem i replaced it with a pi intake manifold its pretty simple take u about three hours

People, please read. He already had an aluminum crossover intake. Additionally, please stop calling it a "PI intake" because not all PIs came stock with aluminum crossovers, and you can also get aluminum crossover non-pi intakes. PI has nothing to do with it.
