i have a 0 miles 01 cobra motor and wiring harness. anda complete 03 cobra blower setup including Throttle body/Blower/injectors/air box....everything minus heat exchanger.

i was told the only thing i need to do is switch over the harness..maching off the water sensors on the heads. get a 03 cobra lower intake. and then just get it tuned for boost and bigger injectors once running.

my question is will i need to change the whole computer for the swap?
will the motor be a direct bolt in with no modifications to motor mounts?
What headers will i need to run?

lower intake yes. It will work. Actually there is a lower intake manifold off am '03 Cobra on ebay right now!!! You can bring your car to any Ford dealership and tell them you have an '03 S/C Cobra engine and they will reflash your computer to those parameters. Takes them like 20 minutes or so. Will cost you about $70 or whatever they charge for an hours worth of Diagnostics! Most people do not know this!
Motor mounts are all the same from 94-04 sohc and dohc!
You will need just the engine bay/fuel injector wiring harness. It will have a few diff. plugs on it

do i use an 03 cobra harness or the 01 is fine?

wha headers to use?

so i should but a cobra lower intake manifold, and what is the part on the heads that need machined off?
