Default Can the TPS cause the car to stall and have no take off?

I installed the C&L upper plenum and professional products 75mm throttle body. Before my car would take off great, now it feels like it has no power. It stalls now frequently and has no take off. I scanned it with the OBD-II and it shows that i have to replace the tps. Could this be what is causingall of this. My Map sensor hose has a slight tear as well. Please help.

Do you have an automatic? I have heard of similar problems with Accufab 75mm TB and plenums. A lossof low end power. You can check you TPS voltages to make sure they are correct. Not sure what year car you have. When I replaced my stock TB and plenum with the Accufab, I checked the TPS voltages before and after. I have a 2002 GT. With the TB in the closed position, you should be reading somewhere around .95-.99 volts from ground to sig. As you open the TB, the voltage will increase to around 4.55 with the TB completely open. If your TPS is putting out these voltages, then its probably OK.
