so basically its not worth my time unless i go to the extreme with it?
ehhh...basically. with the money you spent doing all this stuff you could blow or atleast spray your car which would make a much bigger difference in ET's than a couple hundred pounds of weight reduction.

The biggest weight reduction you can do and its by far the one you will notice the most is changing your rims. Its also the most overlooked part by far. Think ofall the rotating massyou will be cutting down onper rim if you did some welds or centerlines.

Your car weighs 4490? That must be a hell of a sound system. You could get a new k member ,an aluminum block flywheel and driveshaft then some race wheels and ditch some of the sound system. That would definately take off some weight. You could also put fiberglass body parts on.But that is all pretty pricey.

Yeah that guy isn't that bright. I gallon of gas weighs anywhere from 5.8-6.5 lbs. Less than water, which weighs 8.3 lbs per gallon.
Yes you are right, I was looking at the wrong equation haha, o well you still get the picture, had my numbers wrong. That weight also depends on the refinery it was made at and also the grade of the gasoline.but just take the average and use that.

I think you're looking at the maximum rated vehicle weight, not the actual weight.
