Default Steering Wheel Vibration

New wheels/tires and alignment. Going straight on the highway I have a steady vibration in my steering wheel. Is this tie rod ends or wheel bearings?

When I had my alignment done they said the front left tie rod end was a little noisy but they didn't say it need to be replaced.

TIA!

Are the wheels balanced?? you would assume that was done, but when I got my car it had new tires on it and they never bothered balancing them. The steering wheel shook like crazy above 65mph. Had them balanced and it took care of it.

A balance would definitely cause the vibration. Also, tires can become out of balance. If, during the alignment they rotated your tires you could get some vibration from the rears coming to the front. Could be that you never noticed it because they are on the rear which isn't directly underneath you, therefore you wouldn't feel the vibrations. Check it out. Might as well, 10 min, around 5 bucks.

I know I just got my wheels balanced and they said I need new tie rod ends and ball joints. I am going to put steedas bump steer kit, rack and pinion bushings, and steedas x2 balljoints. Then cross my fingers. It has a consistent shake like you described.

Brand new wheels and tires as mentioned in the original post. 275/285 setup so they won't be getting rotated. They were balanced. I had a pull before and a vibration beforethey were replaced and the alignment/new tires took care of the pull. I still get a vibration. Car has 90k on it now (25k with blower) so it has some decent miles on it. I just want to know if I should be replacing the tie rod ends before or during my suspension upgrades.
