Default Cool custom steering wheel (air bags?)

Ok who is running a cool aftermarket steering wheel? What happens to the air bag? Do they have one or did you jettison it? If not using is it legal to remove? also I know they can pretty darn dangerous to work with. Comments welcome.......

If the car came with airbags then it is illegal to remove them. There not at all dangerous just make sure the battery has been disconnected for more than 30 min.

Sucks I know. I want to replace the stock steering wheel with a smaller aftermarket one. Its illegal. But I have a link here that shows you how to replace it. They also sell a wheel that is the same size as stock in diameter but is thicker.

The best way to cure a nasty steering wheel is to order a Wheelskins leather wrap off of ebay. I actually put them over my wheel to protect my factory leather, make the wheel a hair thicker, & choose a color combo I like. I usually get a two-tone. They are very high quality & worth every cent. Make sure you take your time putting it on & pulling it tight each time you put the needle through it. Looks factory if you do it correctly. Everyone always asks where I got my steering wheel from. It takes me an hour or a hair more to do one properly.
