Default buying used parts

do you guys think that there is anything wrong with buying a used PI intake and heads off ebay?

it's a tough game! You'd hate to go through all that work to find out the valves are trashed on the heads! Get'em rebuilt if you do!!!! Intake, that's fine, just get the alum. crossover version

I had a buddy buy some heads off ebay (or so he thought he did) and when the package finally came, the guy had shipped him a box of scrap metal. $500 down the drain! Needless to say he was pissed.

Not all sellers are like the guy my buddy delt with, but i'd say just be careful who you buy from.

If the seller doesn't have perfect feedback or damn near close and atleast 300, I don't deal with them! It's not hard to keep feedback above 95%. I have 180 feedbacks and 100%. I have been burned a few times from guys with 50 or so. If you get scrap metal, get a police report, fax it to paypal and they will do what they can to get your money back as long as the seller has $2,000 in protection (you need 50 feedbacks and above 98%)

i haven't had any issues and have spent several thousand on heads/cams/supercharger/block etc...i will check on www.corral.net in the classifieds before using ebay though...thats where i find the best deals.
