I just got home after buying a rebuilt 98 cobra tranny for my 99 GT. After thinking about it for just a minute I remembered that the 98 cobra had a gear driven speedometer and my car has an elctronic one. Will I still be able to use this transmission?? Thanks for the input guys.

I guess you'd have to get a 98 gauge cluster! Thats the only way I see it working...[&:]

Also the Cobra T45 has different mounting points for the Trans Cross member[:@]. I did the same thing you did now I have a T45 in my way in the garage[:@]

If there is no way for this to work I guess I'll take it back to the guy, he said he would take f any problems, man waht a hastle.[:@]

Hell I knew all about the differences but I guess I was in a rush to get the car running. But if anyone has any helpful info about this PLEASE chime in.

Well just got off the phone with the guy he's a tech at local ford dealership and he is gonna swap tails with me and change the gear to the magnetic speedo!! Thank GOD!!

How much did you buy it for? I am going to be selling my Rebuilt 3650 and dont know what to charge
