Default 17x9's on 245/17/45's.......help

I got 17x9" rims.....how well will they fit on my goodyear 245/17/45's? What is the difference between a 245/17/45? Sorry, not too much of a wheel/tire man so i would appreciate the help.

if so yeah they'll fit no problem.

First of all it's 245/45/17. The first number represents the width, the second represents the height of the sidewall, and the last number tells you the size of the rims.

17x9 will fit 245 just fine. I have 245/45/17 upfront (stock sized tires) and then on the rears I have 275/40/17's. BFG's Comp T/A. I love em and the the 275'sdon't poke out too bad on the 9 inch wide rims. I would suggest a little wider tire in the rear if you have to replace them all, since they all will be off anyways. Also, it's really not that much more ($35 per tire). However, this means that you won't be able to rotate them, that is of course unless you want to poke fun of the hondas running around?!?!
