Default 1990 vic to 4V 4.6

ok i'm going to say this only a few times

i have a 1990 ford crownvic with a 347 stroker and a T5 5sp and F303 and a maf conversion

i found a 96 mustang that i can get the entire engine harness trans rear end and anny thing else for the swap for 1000$ the only problems i'm facing right now is
the 4.6 is a 2v sohc so with that stock computer what do i need to make it a 4v Dohc

and the other problem i have is what motor mounts do i use

First off, what does your Crown Vic have anything to do with putting a 4v motor in a 96 mustang? Second, I never knew they made F303 cams. B303 and E303 depending on your trans. 3rd, you'll use the same 2v motor mounts as the 4v, they are the same motor and as far as the computer, just bring the car to a Ford dealership and they will reprogram it for a 4v dohc motor (you must tell them what car and year the engine came from) They charge 1hr of diagnostics time. About $70-80.
Ohh if you want to pull out your pushrod motor to put in a 4v modular motor, I'm not gonna be shy by telling you that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard and anyone would call you a fool. They are much cheaper, easier to work on and lets face it, we are here for one thing and it's called HP. They make more N/A, alot more!

Well don't worry once is enough. There is no reason for you to repeat a stupid question that has been asked a million times when you can just use the search feature.

i'm sorry i didn't clarify.

i'm thinking of puting the engine and transmission from the 96 mustang into my crown victoria

and yes i do know that the windsor blocks are cheap and easy tobuild up but i gues i just like working on my car just as mutch a i do driving it, so i saw the deal and started thinking.

and after i put the 347 T5 in my cv why not start preperations to put in a 4.6 or 5.4,with a T56

and i tried the search function and couldnt find anny thing but one thing on cylinder heads

i have already been called a fool for puting that T5 in my car, now my car is the only one of it's build in the US,

Basically any 4.6 block can be swapped with either 2v or 4v heads. My suggestion would be to just start wtih either a cobra or mark VIII engine. It would make it a lot easier. I wouldn't mess with the 2v to 4v conversion.

Take the 347 out of the Vic and drop it in the 'stang. and Targa, the F303 is the biggest cam FRPP makes. they've got more out there than most people know, hell i had an X303 cam in my '92 (s/c cam)

as far as the 4v motor,it'd be alot nicer in a 98+ Vic. sell the box body to someone who'll put some 24"'s on it and call it a day
