I've seen a video of the same thing happen to a Fox body before. Just way to much torque and traction for the parts installed.

+1 same thing happened to my neighbors car, he had put a blower on his car, built his motor had slicks n 390's did his burnout fine, but when he launched his rear end just poped off, had nothing to do with welding lol just stock ****. but that was a funny video

Been racin for years with several low 9 cars and a few 8's RED's and ....either a axle should've broke(possibly 2)(ford that was spoke of ),drive shaft twisted,u-joint failed....but never the WHOLE rear end housing....BAD WELDING///....Trust me ...that car would've been reallylucky to even touch a MID 10 SECOND e.t....
