Ford racing strut tower brace here. ????s
picked up a nifty 3 point (triangulated) strut tower brace for my 2002 vert. let me first say, yes i know how to install this bad boy...HOWEVER.....the lip/seam on the firewall does not extend out far enough for me bolt the base of the STB on it. so i start looking around, and see some STBs (ex. BBK) come with an adapter plate that in essence extends the seam on the firewall allowing a firm base to tighten the STB down.
so...where can i get this adapter plate separate from buying a new STB? i am really not in the mood to fab up an adapter plate, not am i in the mood to modify this shiny STB, i.e slotting the holes....
any suggestions gents?

never mind guys. this STB uses 8 bolts. 3 each strut tower. 2 on the back firewall. no need for drilling into the seam or lip on the firewall......issue solved
