i hate fram they suck. i use motorcraft. some of buddys still use fram. i think its because everybody goes to walmat and thats mainly what they sell.

I moved from the usual Motorcraft to a Ford Performance Racing filter. Didn't notice a huge difference, just a very slight increase in oil pressure.
Apparently it holds oil more efficiently to protect on Startup, so naturally I was a sucker and paid 29 Dollars for it

Here are some photos and comment re: oil filters I dissected 4 years ago---these were Miata filters but the innards and construction quality are similar for all sizes made by these manufacturers...

No Motorcraft only makes for Ford, some filters cross over to other makes though.

most every filter crosses over, but they have toyota filters too, which there are no obvious crossovers

Oh I stand corrected, I work at a ford dealer and I guessI only see a fewand dont stock the toyotas

yea and if you go to their site, they say they only make for Ford Lincoln and Mercury, but they have toyotas, hondas, a good majority of em

I use K&N filter with Royal Purple myself. For the way we drive our cars, we should put nothing but the best in them.

Yep, I use mobil one full synthetic oil, with mobil one filter. Nascar uses it, and those things run at 200 mph for 400 laps. :P lol.
