Default new hood = running problems (98gt)

hey everyone. what a crappy couple days. baught a cervinis hood with two cut out scoops on it. It rained, and ever since the car buckles, lost power and feels like its gonna stall going down the road. Im thinking its plug wires got wet...but hate to spend the money and be wrong. anyone think thatsright...or have any other suggestions? and has any1 had this problem?? thanks guys.

clean out the spark plug holes... plug the holes as well and take off the spoiler.

there are so many possibilities where water could have gotten into. if it got into your intake you could be in a world of hurtin

yeah, the intake runs out the fender. Its a cervini ram air type II hood. Looks ok, but what a hassle. Your saying just take a air gun and blow down into the plug holes? Oh and about the spoiler...previous owner had my car riced up...murdered my trunk with gaping screw holes. Its off of there come tax returns...

thats good to know.. get something like the saleen spoiler to cover up those holes.

thats gonna be risky...not sure if the holes will line up or not. but yeah, saleen is what i had in mind. i really like the ones on your bodystyle.

the 3 piece saleen? i love those spoilers but from what ive been told they dont hold on the body good and are held on mostly by 2 sided tape.
