Default Heard of BULLETT Gears?

I just ordered my gears from a local mustang outlet in town and I assumed they would be ford racing gears but the company is Bullett instead. I know the guy at this shop knows what he's talking about because he has been in business forever. Has anyone else heard of this brand before?

Great, so should I be worried about having these gears installed?

Another question, if anyone has done gearwork themselves do I need a pinion depth gauge or not? I heard that you don't need it if you have ford gears but since I got these Bullett ones by mistake I was j/w. thanks for the help guys

Never heard of them. I'd assume to do it right, you'd need a depth gauge

Yeah a depth gauge would really reduce the gear whine but it's an extra 200 bucks....

as long as you have a good gear pattern and backlash is right then the worst that would happen is alittle bit of noise... hell I like noise... lets me know my car is movin

So you're saying the depth gauge is not needed MD? My uncle has done a lot of work with gears so he knows what he's doing with my car.

im wondering the same thing guys, im pretty sure im gonna get 4.10's now, but the guy i was gonna have them install them said that there was gonna be quite abit of whine coming from my rear end after the install, and that it was normal and not to worry,,

is this true, and how loud is it gonna be, and is the depth gauge gonna stop that?
