Default What does this mean?

When i start my car in the morning - it has a rough idle, like a cam. And has a hissing sound from what appears to be the intake area. But after a minute or so it goes away and the idle is bak to normal. Any ideas?

Just a thought, probably wrong, but have you checked your air and fuel filter to make sure they are clean? I'm not too sure what would cause a rough start that solves itself in a minute or so.

Vacum leak that when the motor reaches Operating temps seals itself because of the gasket or rubber expanding. Just one possibility

Depends on where the leak really is. "Vacuum leak" is a really broad term.

I have an IAC restrictor in mine, when cold, I do hear a hissing from the engine bay, however my idle is just fine. The sound is just the larger-than-normal volume of air going through the IAC.

A vacuum leak would explain it running as if it were cammed though... Check your air intake, be sure it's all tight... Something is probably loose there.

Yep sounds like a vacuum leak. Check your vacuum hoses especially the one going into the IAC. That would make the hissing sound and the rough idle.

fuel filter would be a good idea if it has not been serviced recently, but if its clogged, it will not fix itself, it will just chug and chug, sounds like you have some kind of air leak.

hissing sound...??? When is the last time you replaced your PCV valve? They can cause all sorts of problems if they get clogged!
