yea thats typical with spec clutches, thats why i will never do business with them again. I had the same problem so i ended up throwing the whole setup away and going with a stock terminator clutch. I am satisfied now

this whole break in period sucks. Way back when I had a GTO that i used only for racing, there was no such thing as "break in" ?^$$?? How do you break in a clutch when the car is only driven 1/4 mile per week or two??

No, the reason I changed to a new clutch is because the old throwout bearing made the engagement not smooth and squeaked. My Spec Stage 3 chattered for a little while sometimes while trying to feather it out from a stop, now it doesnt. You have to let the six puck Stage 3 out quicker than a normal disc.

Mine does the same thing too, but I'm running on a stock clutch. I can't pinpoint it out for you exactly on yours since you said it's brand new but I believe mine is coming from the throw-out bearing

Alright, check this out. I just got off the phone with a guy from Spec. (very helpful, by the way) I told him my problem was that the clutch squeaked when fully engaged and that it will stop if I put a very small amount of pressure on the clutch pedal while driving. He told me to thighten the clutch cable just enough to where it is kissing the fork. It makes sense that that would work because I do have about an inch of play in the pedal before the clutch actually starts to disengage.

I will try this tomorrow and post to let everyone know if this works. He told me that of everyone he has talked to, no one is having this problem. So maybe it's an easy fix. We'll see......
