Default 04 Cobra drivetrain project

Plan is to get the 04, new pulley then...

Mod the drivetrain, brakes, suspension etc.

Aside from very basic motor bolt ons im going to leave it stock for a while, but I want to see what i can get out of the car by doing alot of lightweight performance mods.

I have always planned on getting eradispeeds all around, aluminum driveshaft, contol arms. Really get this thing to hook up and handle awesome and minimize as much weight as possible. Since I wont have the car til next year, just wanted to see what other people have done, purchased and installed on theres and what they would suggest. And other parts they know of that can get the weight of these things down!

I want all those kids to see it and go, yeah its a pretty much stock Cobra, and overlook all the important mods I have done.

One problem...Every KID out there already think of Cobra's as being fast!!! If you need to fool the crowd go home. Post this when you get the motor! You'll gain maybe 250lbs by completely gutting the car and then everyone will know it's not stock cause it will look like sh.t on the inside

Unless the cobra has a swapped rear, take the control arms off the list. What are eradispeeds also? Brakes or something?

http://www.baer.com/products/rotors/...d-plus-two.php

Theres quite a few 03-04 Cobras around here, theres also alot of younger kids that bought cars with blowers already on them, alot of foxes and SN95's. Plus all the GM guys with their built up TA's and Camaros.

New Cobras dont have quite the hype they used to I guess.

And I am going to keep most of the interior, I was mainly talking the drivetrain and things not quite so obvious as a car with no interior minus a seat and steering wheel.
