LOL, you know what...everytime I've done a project myself, some other asswipe on a message board did the identical project and he was done hours or days before I was. It seems like I have a tool goblin &amp; a massive amount of brain farts during projects.</P>

remember your not a "good" mechanic unless you always have parts left over from the job*L*
my advise it to buy you a few books and read....if you have friends with 'stangs go help them work on them to learn..remember "think about it twice then do it once"!

its not very involved at all, but it won't do you any good on a stock motor, or even a mildly modified one for that matter on a newer car

YES GET A HAYNES OR FORD REPAIR MANUAL. READ IT, THEN TAKE YOUR CAR APART AND PUT IT BACK TOGETHER.. ITS FUN.. J/J I RECOMMEND READING UP ON THE JOB YOU DO FIRST.. FROM FUEL PUMPS TO INTAKES, READ YOUR MANUALS AND ARTICLES YOU CAN FIND AND FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH WHAT YOU WILL BE FACING.. IT IS FUN TO TAKE EM APART THOUGH, AND EVEN BETTER WHEN THEY ACTUALLY GO BACK TOGETHER.

I can tell you that the easiest mod is to remove the air silencer from your stock intake. You will gain about 5 hrs. Then you should seriously consider a K&amp;N air filter. This will cost about $45 and will give you about another 5 hp. Do thesew mods first before you start digging into your pony! Believe me, I know how it is.

honestly i always found installing a cat back as a rather straight forward thing to do, any novice can do it. ive done plenty, ive done them all in my driveway which sucks major B*lls but im sure u could manage doing that. The worst is when i did a tranny swap in my driveway on jackstands.....NEVER AGAIN, took 10 hours lol
