Any advice before I go to install this?

Sap

1). Less gas the better, the lighter the tank the easier.
2). You have to pull the trunk carpet to get to the filler neck
3). Make sure you have a jack under the tank as you lower it

Its pretty easy actually, you undo the bolts holding the straps, undo the clips (gently) for the wiring connectors and unbolt the old pump and replace it with the new pump.

If you run into problems let us know, many of us have done it and can help out

focus pump will work on a 1996 gt right?

Dunno about that... I thought the 96 had a return style fuel pump with regulator setup?? thats not going to work with a returnless SVT focus pump.

I could be wrong, but I am 99.99 percent sure. One of the NPI guys shoudl be able to confirm/deny this.

I agree, it 'may' work... as in hook up to the electronics and stuff. If by chance it does hook up don't count on it lasting very long.

The walbro pumps are for the return fuel systems. They are cheap as well.

pretty easy.
i didnt have to pull the carpet to get to the filler neck. just take off the 3 or 4 bolts around your gas cap
