Default Chipped or not

I have a 97 mustang gt with cold air intake, exhaust, and its been programmed using the performance preset with a Superchips programmer. I'm installing a Cold Fusion Wet kit and I'm worried about my timing advance. I don't know what timing advance really is but a few friends were saying I could blow my engine. I can go back to the stock program for my car and should be fine but I'd rather use the performance program if I could.

I wanted to know if having my car chipped would make my engine easier to blow with nitrous or if I should go back to the stock program

you need to get a flip chip then. with the nitrous your timing has to be below 10*. You cannot advance your timing and use nitrous at the same time or you will blow the engine. Also you shoud go get a dyno tune as mentioned for the nitrous.
