Default rust in radiator

a buddy of mine has a 96 GT and there a bunch of rust in his radiator and its giving off a weird smell. Is there something you can get to fix this besides takking it to a shop or getting a flush?

Chances are it's long overdue for a flush. Take it to the shop before you strart to run into some more serious problems

Taking your car to the shop to geta flush???? Drain the thing yourself and use 50/50 antifreeze/distilled water!! This is in the top 10 easiest things to do to your car! If you cannot handle this yourself don't by a mustang!!

Just changing the water is not going to get it all out. Go to a auto parts store and buy some coolant flushing stuff and do it yourself. The best stuff is the stuff from Ford. All dealerships have it.

Try telling someone that **** that don't work at a dealership! I've flushed a lot of coolant systems with, guess what, COOLANT FLUSH! Call any ford dealership and ask them if they have it! Just draining the coolant and putting new in will not clean it out!
