no there is no sqeal or any noises. I ended up using a ford racing TOB because the spec one fell apart during install.

I just got off the phone with Spec tech. they said drive it for 100 miles more and "drive more aggressive". They said I'm probably on the verge of the chatter going away. If it doesnt, to send the clutch in and they would look at it??$^#@#@^?? New cars dont have chatter in them, whats different??

I have a spec 3 and it has been chattering for about 5000 miles.

yea spec sucks from what i have heard and with personal experience... my buddies on his camaro ALWAYS chattered from the first day it was put in

What kind of material does the clutch disc use? Carbon Fiber, Kevlar, or??? Both of those materials while they will last longer will chatter. it's just an inherent material compabability issue between the disc material and the steel flywheel.

Did you make sure to spray down the Flywheel, disc, and clutch plate with a non-filming cleaner?Old school brake cleaner, not the new EPA friendly crap works best. Berrymans Brake cleaner works best.

Thanks for the input, yes I did spray the flywheel with brake cleaner. Mine is napa brand and it smells pretty strong, so I'm guessing it must be "old school". I guess I should maybe just get used to the chatter orstart smoking the clutch more & try & break it in that way. Maybe I should start taking off in second gear, to work the clutch in ??
