if you dont want to spend money and want the look of a rear seat delete just do what i did. i just took out the cushion out and folded the backs down. i always had the backs folded down so i could hear my subs better, got tired of them not being completly flat so i took out the cusion and its great. looks nice and i gained extra storage

Whoever said that the delete kit only shaves off 20 lbs doesn't know what they are talking about. Yeah, the seat bottom is foam, but the reason the kit shaves off the poundage is because of the seat back and the hinges that allow it to fold down. The majority of the weight reduction comes from the REMOVAL OF THE HINGES.

yea that hardware is heavy, but adding in wood makes up for it... some lbs is better that none I suppose.
